Journeying gains insights into life, its meaning and purpose.
Shamanism is the most ancient of spiritual practices. There are many shamanic traditions throughout our world. We shamans recognize body/mind/spirit connection and work with metaphors and archetypes found in our collective unconscious. As such, people of any religious background may benefit from this process of Soul Recovery and Extraction (SR&E).
The shamanic understanding is that as we go through our lives, we experience traumas thereby loosing pieces of our soul, (one could call them energy packets) thus causing ourselves distress and dis-ease.
Shamans are social lubricators of the dream world. We are messengers who travel between the worlds of being, the "real" and the spiritual. We are catalysts who are able to traverse the other worlds and spaces, bringing back lost pieces, or even wonderful gifts from the spirit world, which, if we then integrate these into our lives, will help us become more lucid, energetic, alive and happy.
The shaman has a guide who is a non-physical energy being willing to assist during soul recovery and extraction. They have special skills or talents in journeying and extraction surgery. They act as an intermediary between any entities encountered and the shaman.
My gift as a shaman is to recover these soul pieces that have split off, been trapped or stolen and return them to you, the client, to assist your restoration.
Working with my client, I create and hold a safe space in which to receive and integrate these fragile pieces. I act as a mirror, for the healing does not come from me, but from you, the recipient of the gifts and pieces that have been returned to you.
It is a process of Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World as in Kabbalah). As we restore ourselves, so we raise our frequencies. As we return to wholeness, so we repair others. What we heal in ourselves, we heal in others.
The path I follow is a heart-centered one, and does not require entheogens to enable the work to be done. It uses heart intelligence, in sacred ceremony, to direct restorative or as it more commonly known, healing energy.
You can find out more about shamanism at C. Michael Smith's site and at the Medicine Garden site. Or read the book, Soul Recovery and Extraction, written by my great Cherokee metis shaman teacher, Ai Gvadi Waya. Other useful sites are Alison Sinclair's site and Shaman Links.

Learning Journey work
The ability to move from our 3D world into an altered state where original healing occurs is a valuable skill. Exploring our Inner Realms with confidence safety and support, a space appears where "dreams are born and choices made".
This sacred work can apply itself to source and clear up issues. We learn the ethics of recognizing places of empowerment and how to follow energy trails. Through self enquiry and heart intelligence we learn to extend our sentences through the poetry of our souls.
Journey work is a way to:
Communicate and work with your guides;
Find places of peace, empowerment and enjoyment;
Re-member the magic of your life;
Sessions cost R450 for 1½ hours each. At least 3 sessions are recommended. These journeys can continue as needed or desired and sessions will be guided to take the form necessary to get the work done. Sliding scale/barter payment may be discussed.
The SACRED BREATHWORK is a technique developed by C MIKKAL SMITH, here are his words ~ " I have developed Sacred Breathwork as a form of sacred ceremony to connect deeply with the Sacred through powerful non ordinary states of consciousness, for purposes of worship and renewal, healing of old wounds, exploration of the visionary and archetypal realms of the collective unconscious. It is creative expression of the Sacred through breath, dance, art, poetry and chant."
Breathwork sessions available on request
